What is Namaparadh? - The most dangerous offence!

‎1. What is namaparadh?
2. How do we, the sadhak, know when we have done a namaparadh ?
3. How do we attone for namaparadh?

1. Namaparadh (spiritual transgression) means any kind of negative thinking about God, God's name, God's leelas, God's Divine abodes, or God's Divine Saints. Namaparadh can be committed by saying something negative, listening to something negative, reading something negative, or just thinking something negative. Namaparadh is more serious than an ordinary social sin (like lying or stealing). Social sins are generally punished in the next life when the person receives some kind of suffering as a result. Such sin also creates a negative sanskar (subtle imprint) on the mind, which makes the person more likely to have such sinful thoughts again. The effect of namaparadh is received instantaneously. It pollutes the mind, creates the worst kind of sanskar, and blocks the mind from being able to understand spiritual philosophy or feel the bliss of the Divine name. It also restricts the flow of Grace which the devotee is receiving from his Guru. It means that the Guru is still trying to Grace the devotee, but because of the devotee's wrong thinking, the devotee is unable to receive the Grace or experience it.

Go, Get it!

Don’t be lazy and careless. You already know what is the goal of your life and How you can attain it? Why are you wasting your life by being so careless? You were more careful as a student to pass the material exam to get a material degree? What about the soul and the exam of life? Why do you pay no heed to spiritual progress and Sadhana? Take the exam of life seriously at least in this life. You have been failing this exam since eternity, at least make a true attempt to pass in in this life time. Once you are God-realized you will be freed from all the other exams that you have been passing even though you mAy have to give them.

The entire world..relatives, friends, bank balance, power, respect, etc...is as temporary and illusionary as a dream..The only thing, that will go with us after death, is our devotion to God.
..........SHRI MAHARAJJI.

All spiritual pract...ices for attaining Shri Krishna such as Gyan, Karma, Yoga, Austerities, and Rituals are like a dead body without a soul if they are done without Roop Dhyan -the loving remembrance of Krishna's form.

Flower on a Sandal Tree, Fruit on a Sugarcane

Even if billions of universes are put on a balance they are easily outweighed by a single particle of divine love.

A flower is the most fragrant part of a plant and we all know that the sandalwood tree has got the most pleasant smell among all the smells found in the bio-world  What a strange thing it is then, that there is no flower on this sandal tree.
A fruit is the sweetest part of a tree and we are all aware of the fact that Sugarcane is the source of all the varieties of sweets. What a strange thing it is then, that there is no fruit in the sugarcane plant.

The difference between divine love and brahmanand is the difference between the sweetness of sugarcane and sugarcane fruit, or between the fragrance of a sandalwood tree and a flower on a sandalwood tree.

We must Focus only on the nectar of the lotus feet of Yadunandan and do Bhakti because without bhakti not even our mind (antahkaran) will get pure.
Even Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya did bhakti himself and taught his mother to do bhakti. He admitted that without bhakti one can't even set free from the bondage of maya and get liberation, what to tell of the divine love of Shree Yugalsarkar. Because Krishna himself tells Arjun in the Bhagwadgita,"daiveyi hyesha gunmayi mam maaya duratyaya. Maam eva ye prapadyante, maayametaam taranti te." meaning that his illusory energy called Maya is divine and only those who surrender themselves to Lord shal get free from this Maya.

It was Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya himself who established idols of various forms of Lord in the four main Dhaams.

God's your Buddy

Spend some private time with God every day and pray to Him. Play a CD of bhajans, i.e. devotional songs. Sing along with, or after the singer. Keep a picture of Lord Krishna in front of yo
u. Next, take Him out of the picture and visualize Him as a living entity. He is six feet tall and very alluring. His eyes are blinking, His arms are moving, He is smiling, He is walking towards you. Embrace Him lovingly. Fall at His lotus feet and wash them with your tears.
